About EduConnect

A teaching career shouldn’t begin with recruitment debt.

EduConnect exists because the way international teachers reach U.S. classrooms had become more expensive than it needed to be — for the teachers, and for the schools waiting to hire them.

Why we exist

The connection between a school and a teacher is not a transaction to be brokered.

For too many international educators, the path to a U.S. classroom has included steep fees charged by recruitment intermediaries. Some teachers borrow money, or take on debt, before they have received a first paycheck.

Schools feel the same pressure from the other side: a placement fee, a limited slate of candidates, and a recruiter standing in the middle of a relationship they would rather build themselves.

We built EduConnect because there is a better way to make that first connection. A teacher presents their experience once, properly. A school reviews it, and talks to the person behind it. Neither needs an agency to make an introduction.

EduConnect is a software marketplace, not a placement agency. Our job is to make cross-border hiring more direct, transparent, and workable for everyone involved.

How we work

Three principles we don’t trade away.

The relationship stays with the people in it

A school meets a teacher, not a recruiter holding the file. Conversations, interviews, and offers happen between the two of them, inside one shared workspace.

The hiring decision belongs to the school

We surface candidates and organize the process. Your team evaluates qualifications, checks references, and decides who teaches in your classrooms.

The price is in public

Teachers pay one membership, stated up front. Schools pay nothing. There is no commission, no placement fee, and no cost that only appears after an offer is signed.

EduConnect is a TPI International platform. Immigration, credential evaluation, and licensing requirements remain the responsibility of the people they apply to, and are handled by the qualified providers and sponsors involved.
