Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of EduConnect at educonnect.pedagogyinstitute.com and related services. EduConnect is operated by The Pedagogy Institute TPI LLC (“EduConnect,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you use EduConnect on behalf of a school, district, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the platform.

EduConnect is a software marketplace that helps international educators and schools find and communicate with one another. The platform may include educator profiles, professional profile marketing, outreach to potential school employers, opportunity listings, applications, shortlists, virtual hiring events, interview scheduling, messages, offers, and optional career-related services.

EduConnect is not the employer of teachers listed on the platform, and it is not a traditional placement agency. Schools and educators make their own independent decisions about recruitment, hiring, employment terms, and whether to proceed with any opportunity. Availability and details of specific platform features may change.

You must be legally able to enter into an agreement to use EduConnect, and you must provide accurate registration information. Professional users must be at least 18 years old. Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

You are responsible for activity under your account, except to the extent caused by our failure to meet applicable legal obligations. You may not impersonate another person or organization, submit misleading credentials, or access an account without permission.

Educators are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and currency of the information in their profiles, applications, résumés, videos, certifications, and communications. You must have the right to upload the content you provide.

If you choose a profile-marketing or direct-outreach feature, you authorize EduConnect to use and share the professional information you make available for that purpose with prospective school employers and relevant hiring contacts, subject to your available visibility controls and our Privacy Policy.

An account, subscription, outreach campaign, interview, or paid add-on does not guarantee that a school will respond, offer employment, sponsor a visa, or complete a hire. Educators decide whether to apply for a role, accept an invitation, negotiate an offer, or enter an employment relationship.

School users must provide accurate information about their institutions, vacancies, eligibility requirements, compensation, visa pathways, and hiring practices. Schools are responsible for evaluating candidates, conducting appropriate checks, making lawful hiring decisions, complying with employment and immigration requirements, and safeguarding candidate information.

Schools may use educator information obtained through EduConnect only for legitimate hiring-related purposes and in accordance with applicable law. They may not scrape, resell, publicly redistribute, or use profile information for unrelated solicitation or discriminatory purposes.

Any offer or hiring agreement is between the school and the educator. Unless separately agreed in writing, EduConnect is not a party to that employment agreement.

Some EduConnect features require a paid teacher membership. Current membership prices, billing frequency, included features, any applicable taxes, and additional service fees are disclosed during enrollment or checkout. Schools may be offered access without a platform subscription fee, subject to the terms communicated for that offering.

When you purchase a recurring membership, you authorize the payment provider to charge the disclosed amount at the stated interval until cancellation, subject to applicable law and the cancellation terms shown at purchase. You can use available account billing controls or contact support@pedagogyinstitute.com for cancellation assistance.

Unless a different policy is expressly stated during checkout or required by law, cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically reverse charges already processed. Any refund request will be evaluated under the applicable purchase terms and consumer-protection law. Optional services such as credential evaluations, interview preparation, licensing guidance, and résumé assistance may carry separate conditions disclosed when purchased.

Payments are processed through third-party providers. You are responsible for providing valid billing information and keeping it current.

Information on J-1 exchange programs, H-1B sponsorship, licensing, credential evaluations, and other work-authorization pathways is provided for general informational or service-coordination purposes. Eligibility and requirements depend on the facts of the individual case, the employer, designated sponsors, government authorities, and current law.

EduConnect does not itself grant immigration status, approve visa petitions, guarantee sponsor participation, or guarantee licensing or employment outcomes. Unless a separate signed agreement expressly states otherwise, using the marketplace does not create an attorney-client relationship or substitute for advice from a qualified immigration attorney or other licensed professional.

Schools, educators, program sponsors, attorneys, and government authorities remain responsible for decisions and actions within their respective roles. Government, sponsor, legal, and other third-party fees may be separate from EduConnect membership charges.

You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the rights of others. You grant EduConnect a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, for as long as needed to provide and administer the services you request, to host, store, reproduce, format, display, transmit, and share that content for marketplace operations, including professional profile promotion and employer outreach consistent with your selections and our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide your content and that it is not unlawful or knowingly misleading. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

EduConnect’s software, design, branding, and other proprietary materials remain the property of EduConnect or their respective licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, nontransferable right to use the platform in accordance with these Terms.

When using EduConnect, you agree not to:

• Provide false qualifications, create fraudulent listings or offers, impersonate others, or make misleading statements about sponsorship or hiring authority.
• Harass, discriminate against, intimidate, or exploit other users, or use the service for unlawful employment practices.
• Collect, copy, scrape, sell, or repurpose personal information or candidate profiles outside legitimate authorized hiring interactions.
• Attempt to interfere with the security, availability, or integrity of the platform, bypass access limits, deploy malicious code, or gain unauthorized access.
• Use EduConnect to send spam or messages that violate law or the reasonable expectations of recipients.

Certain features rely on third parties, such as Google sign-in and scheduling, meeting providers, payment processors, email providers, and hosting infrastructure. Their separate terms and privacy practices may apply to your use of those services.

We may send service-related notices about accounts, interviews, offers, membership, security, and transactions. Promotional communications and opportunity alerts are subject to the preferences and choices available to you and applicable law.

We work to maintain a reliable platform but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features for operational, security, or legal reasons and will provide notice where required.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, material violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or legal requirements. You may stop using EduConnect and request assistance with your account at any time; applicable payment, retention, and legal obligations may continue after account closure.

EduConnect provides technology and related services to support professional connections. We do not independently warrant the accuracy of every user profile, school listing, third-party communication, hiring decision, or immigration outcome. Users should conduct their own appropriate verification and due diligence.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit every user’s particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

Each party remains responsible for its own conduct and compliance with applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduConnect is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from independent hiring decisions, employer or candidate misconduct, third-party services, or the failure of a particular placement or visa outcome.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including obligations imposed by applicable consumer-protection or data-protection law. Any dispute or claim will be handled under the applicable law and any mandatory rights or procedures that govern the parties.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard personal information, including information in educator profiles and hiring interactions. Please read it alongside these Terms.

We may revise these Terms as EduConnect evolves or as legal or operational requirements change. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain agreement where required by law. Your continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
